Gift Vouchers

We now offer a Gift Voucher so that you can buy days or weeks of our time and give them to your loved one for a Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas, or just because you want to. We produce a personalised Gift Voucher including their name and a picture of the garden, and they can redeem it for design, build or maintenance services.

This service came from a customer request for a ladies birthday and we designed and built a waterfall for her. A gift that will give years of pleasure.

Design Services

Basic Design Service

The basic design includes an initial consultation which begins by sending you a form (see Forms section) which, once complete, will result in preliminary work before the initial consultation. The initial consultation is usually 2-3 hours and will include review of the form, site survey including soil test, and initial sketches. Depending on the scale of the project, from the initial sketches we will either go straight to structural and planting drawings or I will produce up to 5 different sketches for discussion.

Additional services

3D representation
To help with visualising the final garden a 3D picture either as a watercolour or produced on computer garden design software.

Structural Model
If the design contains a large complex structure, eg a one off building, then we can produce a scale model to help you visualise the finished product.

Design of mosaic
I am trained to make mosaics and will design patterns or pictures as required and will suggest materials including (but not limited to) pebbles, ceramic tiles, slate, terracotta, broken china, mirrors.

Design of custom timber work
This can be anything from a piece of custom trellis to a one-off building. If required we have the services of an architect.

Control and liaison with custom contractors
This is often working with artists to produce sculptural pieces but can relate to any complex custom piece.

Project management
Should you wish to use a contractor to build our design we can provide a project management service to ensure that our design is faithfully translated into reality.

Environmentally friendly gardening
We are always happy to re-use and recycle wherever possible and have some experience of permaculture gardening where your space is used in its most natural way. Water conservation techniques are employed and vegetables are integrated with flowers.

Building Services

Clearance
This can be as part of an overall design and build or a separate activity. Includes arranging skips or lorries as required, plant machinery, tree surgeon, removal of all materials including trees, hard surfaces, soil etc. and environmentally friendly disposal.

Building
Through the skills of our own staff and those of trusted contractors we can provide almost any service that could be imagined in a garden. These include but are not limited to:-
